Over the past 12 weeks I feel like I have really grown a lot as a photographer. The first day I walked into this class I did not know how my camera worked or all the different settings that helped create my photos. From my first photo assignment to my last I felt a change in my ability to create good images. I have really learned so much not just on my camera, but in editing my photos. I remember the first day I opened photoshop and couldn't believe how many different tools and just overall how overwhelming it was. I now know how to photoshop an image and correctly edit photos. I am so excited to travel and use the setting I have learned on my camera and apply what I have learned. Using the ISO, aperture, and shutter to help adjust the exposure and the depth of field in my photos. I really am so glad I took this class because I did learn so much that I can apply to my camera and continue to use outside of school. After all the photo assignment I have taken some really good photos and some not so good ones... Some not good Some of my better work.

For this photo assignment we were to take a photo of a moving person and try to catch the background blur while keeping the person or object moving clear. The hard part about this assignment was to focus on the right spot and deciding when to click the picture at the right time.
For this photoshop Assignment we were assigned to take pictures of someone in the studio set up and by the window. We used different object to reflect light back on our subject when we were shooting by the window. For shooting in the studio we had lights set up that helped bring the perfect amount of light to our subject. During this assignment I struggled with getting just the right settings based on the different kinds of lighting.
For this weeks photo assignment I chose architecture. The reason I chose it was because I went to Missouri for soccer, my dad and I went downtown and I thought all the buildings and architecture was so cool. I went into the Arch and it was so cool. The view was so pretty and I just started taking pictures. ISO 200 f/8.0 1/640 sec
For this photo assignment I shot still life. I found this photo assignment was a bit trickier because I was lacking some creativity. Although I got some shots that I think turned out pretty good, I had some struggles. ISO 250 f/3.4 1/30 sec
For this photoshop assignment we were to take photos of ourselves or a friend and photoshop the images together. To do this we added all the images together in a stack and cropped around the person in each picture and then added a layer mask. We continued to do that to each image until they were all combined. During this assignment I got a bit more comfortable with photoshop and how to use the tools.
For this photoshop assignment we were suppose to take any picture around the school and use our creativity to make it spooky. This assignment helped me better my skills in photoshop and get more comfortable using photoshop.
For this photo assignment I decided to shoot black & white. During this shoot I took some pictures with flowers I had. The flowers were older so some of the flower buds were falling off and I tried to incorporate that into my photos. During this shoot I learned how to adjust the ISO to best fit the lighting in the room. ISO 100 f4.0 1/4 sec
For this project we were assigned to take 5 panoramas. We learned how to photoshop the images and blend them all together. Below are some of the panos I took for this assignment.
For this weeks photo assignment I decided to shoot nature. I chose this because I was in Florida over the weekend and thought it would be a perfect time to do so. I went to the beach for sunset and started capturing the sunset. During this shoot I learned how to adjust the ISO based on the outdoor setting. ISO 100 f/8.0 1/200 sec
